THE AVENGERS

In an interview with Total Film Magazine (via Comic Book Movie), Tom Hiddleton spoke to Loki's interaction with Captain America and the Hulk in Earth's Mightiest Movie.

"I had huge fun with Chris Evans, as Captain America, because super-soldier though he may be, he's still a man, up against a God who in his own mind is infinitely superior," Hiddleston told Total Film. "Then, in the ring with The Hulk, we've got this silver tongued, lightening quick mind up against the embodiment of rage…Loki has this mercurial, transformative ability, not just physically but intellectually, so not all the fights are purely physical. Mind games? Maybe.."

Comic Book Movie also threw up some new scans of "The Avengers" photos found in Empire Magazine featuring Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow.

Spinoff Online has posted an image of Agent Coulson and Thor onboard the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier.

Directed by Joss Whedon and starring everyone. Opens May 4.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN

A new clip from "Amazing Spider-Man" has surfaced on the Mark of the Spider-Man viral marketing website. Check it out below.

Denis Leary spoke to HeroComplex about his portrayal of Captain George Stacy in the upcoming reboot.

"A good friend of mine – comedian and actor Jeff Garlin, who I’ve known for about 90 years — said when he first met me that I reminded him of George Stacy,” Leary told HeroComplex. "True story. We were in our 20s at the time and I thought he was insane. After I got a call from director Marc Webb asking me to play the part, I called Jeff and filled him in on the news. His response? 'You never listen to me! Ever!'"

Opens July 3

THE WALKING DEAD

AMC has posted a fresh preview scene from this week's installment of "The Walking Dead" featuring Maggie and Lori talking about relationships.

Plus, here's a teaser trailer from the end of the most recent episode teasing "18 Miles Out."

Airs Sundays on AMC

ARROW

Green Arrow TV has posted new casting news for the CW's "Arrow." "Caprica" Actor Brian Markinson has supposedly landed the role of the series villain, Adam Hunt. Should the rumor be confirmed, Markinson will join Katie Cassidy, Willa Holland, Stephen Amall, David Ramsey and Susanna Thompson for Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim's "Green Arrow" live-action pilot.

DREDD

According to an interview with "Dredd" star Olivia Thirlby at Crave Online, Judge Anderson is deeply rooted on comic book lore for the "Judge Dredd" film.

"Her name is Judge Anderson. She actually got her own little spinoff because she has psychic abilities," Thirlby told Crave Online. "That was kind of my prep for the character although she was written by several different people, so depending on what comic you read, her persona is very different. Sometimes she’s very sassy, she’s got a lot of one-liners, she’s very cool. Sometimes she’s a lot more tortured. She’s had some dark things happen to her so sometimes she can be a very tortured person."

The actress also noted she would want to play Judge Anderson again given the chance. "It would be a dream to be able to play Anderson again because I really am quite fond of her."

Opens September 21

JOHN CARTER

In a recap of a press junket for Disney's "John Carter," MovieLine reports director Andrew Stanton denied rumors of the $100 million increase to the film's budget calling the reports "a complete and utter lie."

"Disney is so completely psyched that I stayed on budget and on time that they let me have a longer reshoot because I was such a good citizen, so I find it ironic that we’re getting accused of the opposite," Stanton told the press.

The film reported poor tracking numbers last week leading to release, causing Disney to address concerns and confusion leading to its release in early March.

Opens March 9

EVIL DEAD

"Evil Dead" leading star Jane Levy spoke to The Insider the upcoming remake, noting her excitement and teasing the overall tone of the film.

"I'm so excited," Levy told The Insider. "I'm a big fan of the original. To me it's the scariest movie, ever. But this one is really different. They've changed it a lot, but it's still a pretty gory movie. My mom probably can't see it. … I think the humor in the first one came from the special effects of the time. I don't know that they meant it to be funny ... this one is not funny. It's definitely dark."

The Insider also spoke with Bruce Campbell, who teased the scare factor of the reboot.

"You can expect to have a damn scary horror movie," the actor said. "There's no Ash character -- The Evil Book is going to torment a new set of kids, so it's a remake, or a re-imagining or ... a re-whatever word you want to use. It's going to be re-scary."

Opens April 12, 2013

I AM LEGEND 2

Deadline reports Warner Bros. is planning a follow-up to "I Am Legend" starring Will Smith. Smith would reprise his role as Robert Neville for the second film with Arash Amel set to pen the script for the adaptation of the Richard Matheson novel.
