Following DC Comics release of a "Green Lantern" #7 preview yesterday, the publisher (via its blog, The Source) has revealed a first look at Dale Keown's variant cover for "Green Lantern" #8, showcasing Sinestro and Hal Jordan locked in a conflict against the Indigo Tribe. Written by Geoff Johns with art by Doug Mahnke and Christian Alamy, the issue continues the "Secret of the Indigo Tribe" story arc with Hal and Sinestro trapped on the Indigo homeworld as they discover the Indigo Tribe's deadly secret.

"This is the first time I've drawn Green Lantern but I think I had more fun drawing Sinestro," Keown told The Source. "My favorite things to draw are space scenes and green stuff. I had a ball doing this cover and I hope I can do more."

Keown most recently lent his talents to a "Flash" #7 variant cover, featuring the Flash captured by Captain Cold. Check out the artist's "Green Lantern" #8 variant below and stay tuned to CBR for more on "Green Lantern" and "Secret of the Indigo Tribe."
