Japan gets all the coolest toys! A Japanese trailer for "The Avengers" has been making round on the web and it is chock-full of new footage including a brief glimpse at Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts and an actual line from Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill -- not to mention new looks at Stark Tower, the Helicarrier, Loki in a business suit and the mysterious alien army.

Also, the Lebanese Cinema Movie Guide has posted a behind-the-scenes shot of Joss Whedon with Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey, Jr.

Directed by Joss Whedon and starring everyone. Opens May 4.


There may be life for a "Y: The Last Man" film after all! According to The Hollywood Reporter, writing team Matthew Federman and Stephen Scaia are in final negotiations with New Line Cinema to pen the adaptation of the Vertigo comic. The duo is also scripting Sony's new "Zorro" origin film and have previously worked on "Human Target," "Warehouse 13" and "Jericho."


MTV has posted a video of "The Walking Dead" actors speaking to the events of recent episodes. If you want to avoid spoilers, do not watch this video!

Season finale airs Sunday on AMC


Sony Taiwan has posted the first footage of the "Total Recall" remake starring Colin Farrell as Douglas Quaid. It's a short 30 second trailer, but it gives a good idea what to expect from the upcoming film.

For once, rolling Snake Eyes doesn't seem like such a bad thing. Total Film has released this sweet new image of Ray Park as Snake Eyes in the upcoming "G.I. Joe: Retaliation."

Comic Book Movie has posted three new stills from "Superman Vs. The Elite," the newest DC Universe Original Animated Movie. If you're headed out to WonderCon this weekend, be sure to check out the world premiere of "Superman vs. The Elite" on Friday.

The Hollywood Reporter reveals Warner Bros. has picked up the movie rights to the vintage comic strip created by Lee Falk in 1934. Atlas Entertainment will produce the film and Warner Bros. is now on the lookout for fresh writers.
