THE AVENGERS

Comic Vine has posted a video interview with eFX Collectables president Brian Ono where he speaks to the construction of the prop replicas of various "Avengers" props, including Thor's helmet, which will not be making an appearance in Earth's Mightiest Movie.

"The Thor helmet is actually from the 'Thor' movie," Ono told Comic Vine. "You do not see this helmet in 'Avengers.' You actually didn't see it in the 'Thor' movie either. You saw it for like two seconds and then it was gone."

Directed by Joss Whedon and starring everyone. Opens May 4.

THE WALKING DEAD

The Hollywood Reporter interviewed actress Danai Gurira, who spoke to her excitement at portraying Michonne during season three of "The Walking Dead" and how she plans to develop the character.

"I'm going to develop that with [showrunner] Glen Mazzara and the whole creative team," Gurira told THR. "They have their own take on the source material. I'm going to be meeting with them next week to get an understanding of what their take is and how she grows and develops. I'll find out the answer to that in the coming weeks in terms of exactly how she will map out with what she is in the books vs. what she will be on the screen. I'll be learning as I go in some regards. I do know that she remains an absolute badass and I will be training with katana swords. I'm really excited about that."

Airs Sundays on AMC

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES

The TMNT controversy continues as "Turtles" co-creator Kevin Eastman weighed in on his official Facebook page in support of Bay's take on the franchise.

"Hey Guys, Sorry to have been away for so long -- completely swamped with work -- but it is some pretty exciting stuff," Eastman said via Facebook. "I had been invited to check out the TMNT film development by my friend Scott Mednick over the years, and a while back had a full look behind the curtian at what writers Appelbaum and Nemec, director Liebesman, and producer Bay are doing -- and trust me -- it is awesome. I'm officially on board, and will share more as I'm allowed... thanks all!"

On the other end of the spectrum, Eastman's fellow co-creator Peter Laird clarified his comments in a reply on his official blog about the subject, which seemed to initially indicate he supported the idea of a planet full of an alien turtle race. He definitively stated this is not the case.

"Just so it's absolutely clear -- I think a planet of turtles is not, in and of itself, a bad idea for some kind of science fiction/fantasy story," said Laird. "But as a way to explain any aspect of the backstory of TMNT, I think it is awful and unnecessary."

Opens Christmas 2013

ENDER'S GAME

"Ender's Game" has a blog! Producer Roberto Orci has launched a Tumblr about the upcoming adaptation of the Orson Scott Card novel appropriately named Ender's Game Blog. There is so far only a single post, but there's definitely more to come.

"Most of us read 'Ender’s Game' when we were young and wondered when it would become a movie," Orci said on the official Tumblr. "We never dreamed then that we would all be part of the team to bring it to the screen, nor did we realize the novel’s description of our world would be so prescient that its vision would still be unfolding before our very eyes today. And now, watching Asa bring a character to life who has been on our minds since our youth, we realize things happen for a reason. We were waiting for him. Make yourself comfortable, Ender!"

ARROW

"Arrow" star Stephen Amell has posted another video blog relating to the upcoming CW series on his WhoSay account. This video is far from the Q&A sessions the actor normally conducts on Facebok, but it's certainly entertaining. I won't spoil the ending for you.

300 2

The untitled "300" follow-up has a release date. On August 2, 2013, fans can expect the full majesty of Zack Snyder's follow-up to "300." No other new information was shared, but at least we have a date for the film.

Opens August 2, 2013

CONAN TAKES ON TURTLES

Always up on current events, Conan O'Brien took on the TMNT controversy in his monologue, giving fans a firsthand glimpse at some "footage" of the upcoming Michael Bay film.
