Marvel Deals "Gambit" A New Hand in August

Marvel has revealed a sparse image teasing the return of a "Gambit" series in August 2012. Although no further details were revealed about the series, the publisher noted more information would come to light at its Next Big Thing panel on Sunday, April 15 at C2E2 2012. The news follows Marvel's announcement of Matt Fraction and David Aja reuniting for an all-new ongoing series with more details to come at the C2E2 Cup O' Joe panel on Saturday, April 14.

Gambit's most recent ongoing series lasted twelve issues and ended in August 2005. Although the character has not had his own ongoing or miniseries since, he was a mainstay in Marjorie Liu's "X-23" series and currently appears in both Liu's "Astonishing X-Men" and Christos Gage's "X-Men Legacy" Check out the teaser below and stay tuned for more on "Gambit" during CBR's coverage of C2E2 2012.
