After a week of nominations and voting, the people have spoken and the Best New Series of 2011 has been determined!

Batman
Published by DC Comics Written by Scott Snyder with art by Greg Capullo

"Batman" garnered nearly 23% of the vote with Marvel's "Daredevil" landing in second place with nearly 14%. Rounding out the top five were "Wolverine & the X-Men," "Wonder Woman" and "Animal Man." All said, the top 5 comprised 55% of all votes.

Snyder and Capullo's "Batman" has seen consistently strong performance in Diamond's monthly sales statistics and continues to be one of the most critically acclaimed titles on the shelves, with CBR Reviewer Greg McElhatton giving the most recent issue 4.5 stars. The series is currently leading up to the Snyder-helmed Bat-family crossover, "Night of the Owls."
