THE AVENGERS

The U.S. premiere of Earth's Mightiest Movie draws closer every day and actors Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans are already looking to their Marvel movie futures with "Thor 2" and "Captain America 2," hoping to cameo in each other's films. In an interview with MTV Splash Page, Hemsworth and Evans claimed they knew nothing about the upcoming sequels but expressed enthusiasm at cameoing in each other's films.

Kevin Feige spoke with CBR News about the future of the Marvel Movieverse.

"It's been [planned since] 2006, 2007 and that's just sort of actively planning, we've been dreaming about it for years and years before that," Feige told CBR. "I mean, the truth is part of me had a few moments watching the movie last night with an audience -- there were a few moments of a feeling of accomplishment and a feeling of achievement, but just before I could pat myself on the back too much I have 'Iron Man 3' starting in two weeks, I have my 'Thor 2' director starting -- it's a massive operation that we want to continue and we want to thrive, so there's never been at Marvel Studios a sense of resting on laurels."

Also, courtesy of Spinoff Online, here's the newest clip from "The Avengers" featuring Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Tom Hiddleston as Loki.

And a second clip, this time featuring an Iron Man/Thor face-off in the forest.

Meanwhile, Comic Book Movie spoke with Chris Hemsworth about his fight with the Hulk, saying it was the fight he was "most excited about."

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN

Spinoff Online has posted two new poster images for Marc Webb's "Amazing Spider-Man" reboot.

In an interview with Yahoo! Movies, Marc Webb mentioned he cast Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker because of the way he ate a burger.

"We tested a lot of really talented, wonderful young actors," Webb told Yahoo! Movies. "And there was a moment when -- I mean this sounds ridiculous, but it's true. We were doing a scene that's not in the movie, where he was eating a cheeseburger and telling Gwen to like calm down or to -- trying to put her at ease, while he is eating food. And the way he ate this food -- it was such a dumb task -- such a dumb independent activity that you give to an actor to do, and he did it. [Laughs] I just felt like we were in a diner. We were in the back of the soundstage and I felt like there's something in the way he embodied and committed to that really tiny minutia -- I just hadn't seen before. I can't explain exactly what I felt like it worked, but that was it."

DARK KNIGHT RISES

Spinoff Online has posted details from an Entertainment Weekly interview with "Dark Knight Rises" actor Tom Hardy, where Hardy compared his character of Bane to that of the Joker.

"The Joker didn’t care -- he just wanted to see the world burn, and he was a master of chaos and destruction, unscrupulous and crazy," Hardy said. "Bane is not that guy. There is a very meticulous and calculated way about Bane. There is a huge orchestration of organization to his ambition. He is also a physical threat to Batman. There is nothing vague about Bane. No jokes. He’s a very clean, clear villain."

SKYFALL

A Turkish news show caught footage of some "Skyfall" stunt footage involving motorcycles rocketing across the rooftops. The video isn't translated, but the footage make the sequence look pretty cool. (Via Comic Book Movie)

PROMETHEUS

A new viral video featuring Michael Fassbender as robot David 8 has hit the web in anticipation of "Prometheus." Fassbender plays a truly convincing robot in the video and I can't wait to see what he brings to the big screen.

For those wanting something more movie-oriented, Comic Book Movie has posted a new international trailer for the upcoming film.

STAR TREK 2

MTV has posted a new look at Zachary Quinto as Mr. Spock in the upcoming "Star Trek" sequel in some kind of environmental space suit. No real details on the scene he was shooting, but the suit looks pretty cool.

DAREDEVIL

Writer J.M. DeMatteis recently posted the first third of his treatment for a "Daredevil" film on his personal blog. DeMatteis recalls how he came to generate the treatment working in conjunction with director Chris Columbus' 1492 Pictures.

"In the mid-nineties I was working on a screenplay for producer/screenwriter Chris Columbus: an original I'd pitched, and sold, to his company, 1492 Pictures, called 'Straight On Till Morning,'" DeMatteis said via his blog. "Around the same time I met -- and became instant best friends with -- a wonderful director named Carlo Carlei. Well, it turned out that Carlo was also working with Chris and his partners -- helping them to develop Marvel Comics' blind superhero, Daredevil, into a feature film. The movie had been through a number of drafts and the creative team was looking for a new take. Short story even shorter: Carlo wanted me involved and, since I was already working for 1492, Chris and Company were happy to bring me on board. They presented me with two earlier versions of the script (there’d been several more) -- one by Columbus, one by Carlei—and set me loose. (I found both of those earlier scripts to be superb and folded many elements into my version.)"

Be sure to check out DeMatteis' posted treatment. It's definitely worth a read.
