THE AVENGERS

ABC's "Nightline" showcased a six-minute feature on Earth's Mightiest Movie. There's nothing terribly new here but there are a couple new pieces of unseen footage.

Directed by Joss Whedon and starring everybody. Opens May 4

SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR

According to MTV, stars from "Sin City" are coming out of the woodwork for the Robbie Rodriguez-directed sequel, "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For." In an interview, Rodriguez confirmed Mickey Rourke would be back to reprise his role as Marv, while Rosario Dawson would also be back playing Gail.

"[Rourke is] all excited to come back, but he's probably the first one," Rodriguez told MTV. "I saw Rosario [Dawson] too. I ran into her for something else, and she's pumped. They've always been excited about doing another one, so that will be fun."

Michael Madsen, who played Bob in the original film, said in an interview with Smashing Interviews that he would be reprising his role in the upcoming sequel.

" I’m doing the sequel to 'Sin City.' That would be 'Sin City 2.,'" Madsen told Smashing Interviews. "I'm going to Ft. Worth, Texas, and there is supposed to be some sort of a symposium or some Sin City panel where we’re going to talk about the film. I’m looking forward to that, too."

IRON MAN 3

While speaking with ABC News, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige spoke a bit about the direction of "Iron Man 3" following "The Avengers."

"It's going to be very different, very unique and I think not ascribe to any specific formula that they think they may have pegged us on," Feige told ABC News. "It’s all in the story. It's where you take Tony Stark on his journey in an unexpected way and have him come out of the Avengers a slightly changed individual, which people will see when they see the movie."

MEN IN BLACK 3

While speaking with Collider about "Men in Black 3," Barry Sonnenfeld spoke a bit about some of the celebrities who make an appearance as aliens on the MiB surveillance board.

"In this one there are a few people that you’ll see up on the surveillance board including Lady Gaga, Tim Burton, who probably knows more about aliens then I do, and let’s see who else," Sonnenfeld told Collider. "Justin Bieber -- oh, I think in the second one we had Martha Stewart and Michael Jackson."

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN

MTV has posted an interview with Marc Webb about the redesign of the Lizard and the lack of his iconic lab coat, telling fans to "be patient… you won't be disappointed."

"For the Lizard, Doctor Connors has a missing arm, which sets him on his path," Webb told MTV. "There's this symmetrical theme in Curt Connors being the literal embodiment of the movie's theme: we all have a missing piece. How we look to fill that void is how we define ourselves. It made sense. After I figured that out, it was a logical choice."

Opens July 3

S.H.I.E.L.D.

While this is completely unconfirmed and should not be taken as a signal that a "S.H.I.E.L.D." movie is actually getting made, Samuel L. Jackson spoke with MTV about what a film starring the world's greatest peacekeeping force would look like.

"I don't know how much of S.H.I.E.L.D. [Marvel] want[s] to expose...I mean, we're not superheroes," Jackson told MTV. "We're more of a shadow world. So, it would be more like 'Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy' with good toys—closer to a 'Bond' movie than a superhero movie."

ENDER'S GAME

The Official "Ender's Game" Tumblr has posted two new pictures from the film. One of the monitor chip embedded in the back of Ender's neck and the other is a quick shot of Ender's bedroom.

SKYFALL

Yahoo! Movies has posted a new video blog from behind the scenes of "Skyfall," this time on location in Shanghai.

RIPPER

Remember the spinoff that was supposed to happen with "Buffy the Vampire Slayer's" Rupert Giles as a young and terrifying whippersnapper? Joss Whedon does. In an interview with The A.V. Club, Whedon spoke about the possible plans for the spin-off and when it might occur.

"No, the thing about Ripper -- the essence of it -- is that the BBC came to me at one point like, 'It doesn't have to be Ripper. It can just be [Anthony Stewart Head], and there’s magic, and he’s Tony, cuz he's awesome,'" Whedon told The A.V. Club. "And that's the thing: For some reason, he keeps getting sexier every year. That’s not happening to me! I'm like, 'What are you doing?' And that story was always about a mature guy who’s lived, and about the choices he’s made. So you could make that now, or you could make it 10 years from now. And I've tortured Tony more than any other living human with, 'We're definitely gonna do this!' Because I thought we were. He's working so much, though, I'd feel too guilty. But that's the thing with Ripper: It doesn't go away in my head because he's still right for it, and he could still bring it."

G.I. JOE: RETALIATION

Action star Bruce Willis spoke to MTV about his role as General Joseph B. Colton in the upcoming "G.I. Joe: Retaliation."

"Joe Colton actually is the original G.I. Joe," Willis told MTV. "In the story, he started the outfit a long time ago and that outfit is all the kids that have -- I mean, they are kids. Everybody is kids to [me], but we had such a great cast in this film, really funny and strong and tough guys and funny guys. Pretty girls and funny at the same time."

INSURANCE FOR EARTH'S MIGHTIEST

Farmer's Insurance has posted a new ad in promotion with "The Avengers." It stars J.K. Simmons, but unfortunately, he does not play J. Jonah Jameson. Still a decently funny 30-second ad, though.
