On April 24, Telltale Games launched "The Walking Dead" video game for PC/Mac and PlayStation Network, allowing players to jump into the world of Robert Kirkman's zombie epic like never before. The first out of five episodes, entitled "A New Day," focuses on protagonist and player-controlled character Lee Everett -- a character created exclusively for the game -- in a parallel story to "The Walking Dead" comics. Along the way, Lee meets a young girl named Clementine, who has been surviving on her own in a treehouse.

The launch trailer for "A New Day" introduces Lee as he rides in the back of a police car and follows him through the beginnings of the zombie apocalypse. Familiar faces, like Glenn and Herschel, make appearances in the trailer as it quickly cuts through some difficult choices the player has to make during the first episode.

The first episode of "The Walking Dead" is available now for PC/Mac on Steam and Telltale's website and on PlayStation Network
