With the "Second Wave" of the New 52 launching Wednesday, May 2, DC Comics, via its blog The Source has revealed a behind-the-scenes look at artwork by George Perez and Kevin Maguire for "Worlds' Finest" #1 written by Paul Levitz. The unlettered, uncolored pages showcase Huntress and Power Girl as they recall their Earth 2 identities as Robin and Supergirl.

"'Worlds' Finest' reminds me of an old Churchill line about 'a riddle wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma,'" writer Paul Levitz told the Source. "I hope readers will have as much fun unwrapping as we did layering the secrets through the issues. Our heroines have fascinating backstories and complex lives already in their young years, and we'll be sharing connecting fragments every issue."
