Marvel Comics is pulling all the stops out for Spider-Man's presence at Comic-Con International at San Diego 2012. In late June, the publisher began revealing teasers for "War" featuring Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and Wolverine and announced Spidey would be getting a sidekick in August. Now, Marvel continues to ramp up excitement for CCI 2012 with a teaser image for its "Minimum Carnage" event.

Initially announced at the Amazing Spider-Man panel at C2E2 2012, "Minimum Carnage" is a play on the title of "Maximum Carnage," 1993's 14-part Spider-Man crossover. Carnage's most recent appearance in "Carnage U.S.A." saw the original Carnage, Cletus Kasady, captured and imprisoned and the symbiote contained. It's likely that "Minimum Carnage" will continue to follow Kasady and his involvement with the Carnage symbiote when it hits stores in October. More information will be revealed during Marvel's Amazing Spider-Man panel on Sunday, July 15 at 12:30 PM at CCI 2012.
