CCI: AvX's Phoenix Five Invade "Marvel: Avengers Alliance"

Marvel announced today at the Marvel Video Games panel at Comic-Con that a new special operations chapter based on the best-selling Avengers vs. X-Men storyline will be coming to the hit Facebook game, Marvel: Avengers Alliance.

Coming this fall, the special operations chapter will include the debut of Magik as a playable character in the game, and new "Phoenix Five" costumes for Cyclops, Colossus, and Emma Frost. The fifth member of the “Phoenix Five” will be unique to the Marvel: Avengers Alliance storyline, and will be revealed to players as they progress through the AvX-related missions.

At Comic-con, Marvel also debuted Marvel: Avengers Alliance on Playdom.com, which will allow any Marvel fan to play Marvel: Avengers Alliance, regardless of whether they are an active Facebook user, bringing the game to a whole new audience of players. The game will be available on Playdom.com this week.
