As has become tradition at Comic-Con International in San Diego, Marvel Comics once again held its annual costume contest (in addition to the special "Iron Man 3" kids' costume contest), and the cosplayers turned out, enthusiastic and elaborately dress. Produced in conjunction with and judged by several members of the Cirque do Soleil KÀ performers -- who remained in character the entire time, speaking only through the use of body language and a bit of grunting -- many of the entries impressed and amazed, but only a handful could walk away with prizes.
