This is the first reveal of the villain and Eccleston is a fine choice for the role. Fans may remember him as the Ninth Doctor in the 2005 "Doctor Who" relaunch.

X-MEN: DAYS OF THE FUTURE PAST

While speaking with IGN, Bryan Singer confirmed the title for the upcoming "X-Men: First Class" sequel will be "Days of Future Past."

"I can say it's being written right now. We'll start shooting in a few months," Singer told IGN. "I don't know what the start date is. It's going to be very ambitious. It's called 'Days of Future Past.' It deals with aspects of that comic but also some very new things. I just don't want to give any of it away. Matthew Vaughan will be directing and I'm totally excited about it."

GHOSTBUSTERS 3

The question of whether Bill Murray will participate in "Ghostbusters 3" appears to be answered -- again. While speaking with Metro about plans for the sequel, Dan Aykroyd confirmed Murray will not be involved in the film, which Aykroyd is "confident [will] be in production in the next year."

"It's sad but we're passing it on to a new generation," Aykroyd told Metro of Murray's lack of involvement. "'Ghostbusters 3' can be a successful movie without Bill. My preference would be to have him involved but at this point he doesn't seem to be coming and we have to move on. It's time to make the third one."

PROMETHEUS 2

According to The Hollywood Reporter Fox has confirmed it is actively pursuing a sequel to Ridley Scott's "Prometheus" with Michael Fassbender and Noomi Rapace already signed to reprise their roles. The studio is speaking with new writers as Damon Lindelof may not be available.

TOTAL RECALL

The "Total Recall" reboot releases tomorrow and press for the film continues to circulate. Bryan Cranston spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about his role as Vilos Cohaagen, the leader of the futuristic nation.

"I told Len, I had a feeling that I want to play Cohagen as a father figure to Colin Farrell’s character," Cranston told THR. "And that he loves this kid and desperately wants to keep him alive as opposed to desperately wanting to kill him."

Meanwhile, director Len Wiseman spoke about the future tech of the film in an interview with MTV.

"We were talking to an engineer, they’re really developing things in a way that makes sense to how the world progresses," Wiseman told MTV of the cars in the film. "At some point we’re going to have to start building up, we’re going to run out of room to go outwards. Once you build up, you have to somehow design and build a transportation system that will accommodate that. That’s what we did here."

THE WALKING DEAD INVADES NEW YORK

Kudos to MTV for the heads up on this one.

In order to bring AMC back to Dish Network's lineup, the network unleashed a good number of zombies in the heart of New York City. It's a pretty funny video.
