THE WALKING DEAD

EW has revealed a deleted scene from "The Walking Dead" season two in anticipation of the DVD/Blu-ray release. The scene takes place during a cut sequence following the explosion of the CDC as Rick and company attempt to take refuge in Guillermo and the Vatos' nursing home. The result is not pretty.

YouTube user TheLucasDime has uploaded the clip to YouTube for fans' viewing pleasure.

Meanwhile, MTV has posted a report that production on the third season's midseason finale has wrapped. "The Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman tweeted early this morning giving props to the show's Georgia crew.

Season three premieres this fall on AMC.

KICK-ASS 2

More casting news for "Kick-Ass 2" continues to surface as The Hollywood Reporter confirms Yancy Butler will return as Red Mist's mother for the sequel. Meanwhile, Christopher Mintz-Plasse spoke with Collider about reprising his role as Red Mist, how he believed "Kick-Ass 2" would not get made and the aging of actress Chloe Grace Moretz.

"They wrote an incredible script," Mintz-Plasse told Collider. "I think [Moretz is] going into 9th grade in this which is really smart. They didn’t keep her 11 as she was in the first one. They kind of aged it up a bit. And it’s super violent and bloody and funny and it’s got a great cast. I'm really excited. I fly out to London in a week to get started."

THE AVENGERS 2

File this one under rumor for now, but MTV reports signs from several industry insiders indicate Joss Whedon's "The Avengers 2" will drop May 1, 2015.

"Marvel has a very set agenda of what they want to do, they are already kind of ahead of the game [on the sequel] because they've got the guy that did it before doing it again and something tells me Joss already has the template [for the film]," said MTV's inside source. "In terms of the time frame, I think that it is well in the works. ... It looks like the release date might be May 1, 2015, but that can change depending on people's schedules. The beauty of 'The Avengers' is that you've got so many people in this that even during the shoot if someone has to do another film they can just focus on [other characters]."

Opens May 1, 2015?

ARROW

Deadline reports actor Byron Mann has been cast in a recurring role for the upcoming CW drama "Arrow." Mann will play "an enigmatic man who has a complex connection to Oliver Queen/Arrow." Mann isn't really a stranger to the DC Universe having portrayed Wesley in 2004's "Catwoman" and appeared in "Smallville" as Commander Cheng and Kern.

Premieres this fall on the CW

GAME OF THRONES

Winteriscoming.net reports a rumor that actors Noah Taylor and Burn Gorman have been spotted on set alongside other members of the Night's Watch. Taylor has acted in both "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" while Gorman appeared in "Torchwood" and "The Dark Knight Rises." There's no word on what roles, if any, the actors will be portraying for "Game of Thrones" season three, but Winteriscoming notes that it's likely the two are part of the Night's Watch under attack at the Fist of the First Men.

SKYFALL

Comic Book Movie has posted four new international posters for the UK release of "Skyfall" in October -- but the new Bond film doesn't get to the U.S. until November 9.

Opens November 9

BILL & TED 3

According to Vulture, original "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" creators Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson have attached "Galaxy Quest" director Dean Parisot to direct a new "Bill & Ted" film. The best part: Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are attached to star. However, there's no way to tell which studio will produce the film. MGM owns the "Bill & Ted" rights, but the film is currently being shopped to other studios for co-financing.
