Yesterday, Image Comics teased the potential death of one of Robert Kirkman's creations, releasing an image showing a bloodied and beaten Mark Grayson, a visual end to the statement "The Death Of..."

While yesterday's release indicated that readers may want to brace themselves for the latest shift in the status quo of Kirkman's long-running superhero epic, today's teaser offers a bit of hope that fans of Grayson's costumed persona may not have to break out the "i"-emblazoned black armbands just yet. Today's teaser for the upcoming "Invincible" #100, illustrated by Ryan Ottley, features a similarly-battered Allen the Alien in place of the titular hero, indicating that perhaps Mark may yet survive the landmark issue. On the other hand, it could just as easily be a hint that the issue's body count may be growing.
