Writer J.T. Krul stopped by the CBR Yacht at Comic-Con International in San Diego 2012 to talk about his upcoming work for both DC Comics and Aspen Entertainment, recalling how his writing job on "Seinfeld" came about as a result of selling his prized comic book collection after college. Krul's "Captain Atom" wraps with a zero issue next month, and the writer told CBR his plans for the final origin issue as well as his work on "Superman Beyond," which deals with the "Batman Beyond" incarnation of the futuristic Man of Steel.

Krul also spoke about his writing for Aspen and the familial environment he's been a part of since 2004 and how the publisher's hard working attitude is the main reason Krul brings stories he wants to tell to Aspen, including his upcoming prose novel. Entitled "The Lost Spark," the young adult fantasy novel deals with a teenage girl rediscovering her "spark" and goes on an adventure to help save her grandfather's life.
