JUSTICE LEAGUE

Remember when Ben Affleck was rumored to be directing a "Justice League" film and when it was rumored he was passing on the offer? Well, 24 Hours Vancouver has a definitive denial of involvement in the "Justice League" film from Affleck.

"I'm not working on the Justice League," Affleck told 24 Hours. "One of the problems with entertainment web sites is that they need to fill pages, and that's how rumours get started. 'Justice League' sounds really exciting, but it's not something I'm working on."

Meanwhile, Moviehole reports a rumor that Warner Bros. is currently chasing the Wachowskis to direct the film. Most will know them best for "The Matrix" trilogy and "Speed Racer." The duo is currently attached to the upcoming "Cloud Atlas."

THE AVENGERS

"The Avengers" hits on DVD/Blu-ray late September and there are a couple new looks at the featurettes. First, Marvel has posted a quick look at Joss Whedon's ability to write for visual moments.

Meanwhile, Collider has posted a featurette about the process for designing the Helicarrier.
