After yesterday's reveal of Dustin Weaver's interlocking "Avengers" covers, Marvel has begun a second round of teasers for its Marvel NOW! publishing initiative. Newsarama has posted a teaser with the creative team of Daniel Way and Steve Dillon above the word "Lightning" with a target above it with a release date of December 2012.
While Marvel has its fair share of characters associated with lightning -- like Thor and Storm -- it seems likely that the "Lightning" combined with the target refers to the long standing tagline of Marvel's "Thunderbolts." The teaser is likely the first in a series, much like the initial teasers in August, so stick around to see what else Marvel NOW! has in store.
