BATMAN BEGINS

According to Superhero Hype, Empire magazine discusses the upcoming Christopher Nolan-helmed DC adaptation. "There was a massive 2-page picture of the new Batman inside! It was an awesome picture of him falling/descending inside a large building, showcasing an incredible wing/cape span. In the article Christian bale says, 'When I play Batman I think of him as a creature.'" If anyone scans a copy of it, or finds it online, let us know.

X-MEN 3

According to Superman-V.com, producer Lauren Shuler Donner said, "that she is looking forward to continuing with the X-Men franchise and that 'X-3' will continue with the Dark Phoenix saga. After 'X-3' there may be a Wolverine movie."

SMALLVILLE

The battle of the network fansites continues, as Kryptonsite starts off today with screen captures from the trailer for the October 6th episode "Facade." Devoted to Smallville fires back by having the actual clip available in RealPlayer format. Kryptonsite delivers a one-two combo by including an image gallery from the October 12 episode "Devoted" and some casting notes: that character "Abby Fine" in "Facade" will be played by Brianna Lynn Brown, and in later episode "Transference," "Edgar Cole" will be played by J.P. Manoux.

GREEN HORNET

News Askew reports that "Kevin [Smith] expects to have the 'Green Hornet' script finished up next week."
