"Arrow," the upcoming TV show that stars Stephen Amell as DC Comics' emerald archer, is getting some help from the top in its first season. DC Entertainment's Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns will join executive producers Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg to write episode #107 of the series, titled "Muse on Fire."

"I'm thrilled to be writing this episode of 'Arrow,' and while I can't give too much away, I think comic fans are going to like what we have in store for them – keep an eye out for the Huntress," Johns told DC's The Source blog.

Johns may be best known for writing comics like "Green Lantern" and "Aquaman," but he's no stranger to television. Johns penned the "Smallville" episodes "Legion," which introduced the Legion of Super-Heroes to the show, and the "Absolute Justice" two-parter. He also wrote the pilot episode of "Blade: The Series" and an episode of "Justice League Unlimited."

"Arrow" premieres Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW. A digital comic that ties into the show was also announced this week and will debut in October as well.
