Marvel Comics has provided CBR with an exclusive first look at Klaus Janson and Bill Sienkiewicz's pages from "Daredevil: End of Days" #2, the upcoming miniseries exploring the Man Without Fear's future murder as seen through the eyes of one of the Marvel U's most important everymen, investigative reporter Phil Urich.
"Klaus is taking everybody to school," said Sienkiewicz of his collaborator on the title's art, Janson when the series was announced in July. "His excitement, enthusiasm and just upping his game again and again and again to this quantum level is contagious. It jazzes me up and when pages come in, we send them around and the Twittersphere kind of goes nuts. It's really exciting to be involved in this."
"Our book is dark and violent and shocking to those who are used to our runs on Daredevil," miniseries co-writer Brian Michael Bendis said of his and David Mack's script for the "last" Daredevil story. "For those who are used to 'Daredevil' right now, I think it's going to be doubly shocking."
Check out the debut of Alex Maleev's cover and a first look at Janson and Sienkiewicz's interiors for "Daredevil: End of Days" #2 below and check back with CBR in the weeks ahead for more on Matt Murdock's final tale.
