[Little White Mouse]"It's certainly easier to write about having boundless hope in a comic book story than to actually manifest it in real life..."

-Paul Sizer

In response to the World Trade Tower tragedy of September 11th, Paul Sizer will be offering an art print honoring the New York City firefighters and rescue workers who lost their lives and the victim's families. The money generated by sales of the 11" x 17" art print will go directly to The New York Fire 9-11 Disaster Relief Fund, a relief service that provides financial support to the families of the firefighters and rescue workers who died saving others during the attack. Blue Line Pro, the publishers of Sizer's comic series LITTLE WHITE MOUSE, have stepped up to the plate and will facilitate the production and sales of the print through their own online store. Sizer will oversee the entire project and personally forward the donations collected to the fund's administrators.

"When something this overwhelming occurs, many people (myself included), are left with a feeling of frustration; 'What can I do that will make any difference?'" Sizer said. "The solution that came to me personally was to use my artistic talents to honor and show support to the brave men and women who risked, and in many cases, lost their lives helping others escape what must have been Hell on Earth. My art has always been my 'voice', and now it's important to use that voice to help promote what needs promoting. My only reason for creating this art print was to help others find a way to contribute to something I felt was worthwhile and vital. I'm making no money from its sale and neither is Blue Line Pro. It's just the right thing to do in my mind, and I'm fortunate to have people like the staff at BLP behind me."

"So often the networks of commerce and the Internet are just used to hype self-serving interests." Sizer continued. "Now I want to see them be used to their full potential of linking us and bringing us all closer together to do what needs to be done! Some people are left feeling that whatever it is that they do is now rendered trivial when faced with tragedy of this magnitude. My thoughts are that it's more important than ever before to use whatever you excel at to its fullest potential. It's just that now you're adding to that a new perspective of life and other's lives, and how to contribute to, and not take away, from that."

"Everyone at Blue Line Pro gives our regards and sympathy to those caught in this terrible tragedy. Though the tragedy may have not effected us directly, we were all touched deeply by it," said Bob Hickey, Creative Director of BLP. "Hopefully, this LWM benefit print can be an opportunity for many, including BLP, to contribute to the relief funds of those who sacrificed so much for others."
