MAN OF STEEL
Following the debut of the new "Man of Steel" trailer this week, Deadline spoke with Amy Adams about her role as Lois Lane in the film.
"I grew up with Margot Kidder as Lois Lane, so I didn't want to try and be that version," Adams told Deadline. "Zack (Snyder) said that he wanted to play for more realism. There's definitely still banter (with Superman). She's tough, modern, and more contemporary. There's also a lot more action than I've seen in my career."
Meanwhile, MovieLine spoke with Christopher Nolan about the persistent rumor that Joseph Gordon-Levitt will appear in "Man of Steel" for some kind of cameo.
"I can't talk about that. You know that," Nolan stated, with MovieLine characterizing his smile as "impish." While it's far from a confirmation, it's definitely not the hard "No" given by Gordon-Levitt's reps earlier this year.
