UPDATE 2:20 PM PT: "Green Lantern: The Animated Series" producer Giancarlo Volpe has confirmed via Twitter that the series has been officially cancelled. A petition to Cartoon Network has already been started to renew both "Young Justice" and "Green Lantern" with over 900 signatures so far.

"Young Justice" and "Green Lantern: The Animated Series" are absent from Cartoon Network's s announcement of returning series for the 2013-2014 season, signaling cancellation for the fan-favorite DC Nation shows.

Presumably taking their place on the hour-long programming block are the previously announced "Teen Titans Go!," which premieres in April, and "Beware the Batman," which arrives sometime this summer.

DC Nation debuted in March 2012, anchored by the returning "Young Justice" and the new "Green Lantern." In addition, the block features well-received animated shorts starring Batman, Teen Titans, Animal Man, Amethyst, Plastic Man and other DC Comics characters. In what perhaps should've been seen as an omen, both series were abruptly pulled from the network's lineup in October and didn't return until January 5.

Announced in October 2011, the CG-animated "Beware the Batman" teams the Dark Knight with Alfred and Katana against some Gotham City's lesser-known rogues, like Anarky, Professor Pyg and Mister Toad. Glen Murakami ("Batman Beyond," "Teen Titans") is executive producing.

"Teen Titans Go!" features the all-new comedic adventures of Robin, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy and Cyborg, who now appear in chibi form in a series of DC Nation shorts. Original "Teen Titans" voice cast members original cast members Scott Menville, Hynden Walch, Khary Payton, Greg Cipes and Tara Strong all reprise their roles.

Read the official descriptions for both series below:

Teen Titans Go!: Featuring the return of Robin, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy and Cyborg in all-new, comedic adventures, Teen Titans Go! will premiere in April 2013. Character-driven comedy is the order of the day as this new take on the superhero series focuses on the funny business that happens between saving the world and living together as teenagers without adult supervision. The series stars the principal voice cast from the original Teen Titans, and is produced by Warner Bros. Animation.

Beware the Batman: A cool, new take on the classic Dark Knight franchise, Beware the Batman incorporates Batman’s core characters with a rogue gallery of new villains not previously seen in animated form. Along with backup from ex-secret agent Alfred and lethal swordstress Katana, the Dark Knight faces the twisted machinations of Gotham City’s criminal underworld led by the likes of Anarky, Professor Pyg, Mister Toad and Magpie. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, this action-packed detective thriller deftly redefines what we have come to know as a “Batman show.” Featuring cutting-edge CGI visuals, Beware the Batman, based on characters from DC Comics, is coming to Cartoon Network’s DC Nation block in Summer 2013.

DC Nation airs Saturdays at 10 a.m. ET/PT on Cartoon Network.
