STAR WARS

While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Mark Hamill revealed he's currently in talks to reprise the role of Luke Skywalker in the new "Star Wars" trilogy.

"George [Lucas] wanted to know whether we’d be interested. He did say that if we didn’t want to do it, they wouldn’t cast another actor in our parts – they would write us out," Hamill told ET. "… I can tell you right away that we haven’t signed any contracts. We’re in the stage where they want us to go in and meet with Michael Arndt, who is the writer, and Kathleen Kennedy, who is going to run Lucasfilm. Both have had meetings set that were postponed -- on their end, not mine. They’re more busy than I am."

ARROW

Here's the extended promo for next week's "Arrow" entitled "Dead to Rights."

"Arrow" newcomer Colton Haynes, who plays Roy Harper, spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about joining the cast of the CW drama.

"Roy is still a bad-ass like he was in the comics, but the Arrow producers have given him a heart," Haynes told THR. "He's definitely the bad boy that piques Thea's interest, but he's doing the things he has to do to live the life he's been given in the ghetto of [Starling City's] the Glades."

Finally, TV Guide spoke with Emily Bett Rickards, who was recently announced as a recurring character, about her portrayal of Felicity Smoak and how she factors in to Oliver Queen's covert operations.

"It creates a certain dynamic that was different from what Olivier and Diggle had because she's the polar opposite of Diggle in a sense that she hasn't seen anyone die and this isn't actually her regular day job," Rickards told TV Guide. "Her role now is to help them solve different crimes in Starling City as well as creating a different balance to the group that the audience, and Olivier and Diggle, will enjoy as well. She's got that awkward, quirky spunk. As much as she's socially inadequate, she's always so gung-ho to hack into something. She's really smart. I find her emotional depth and her emotional capacity interesting because she's so socially awkward."
