Confusion arose this weekend as to the status of Chris Bachalo on Marvel Comics' "Uncanny X-Men" when fans and retailers became aware of updated shipping information from Diamond Comic Distributors which replaced Bachalo's credit on the upcoming issue #4 with artist Kris Anka. But today the publisher confirmed for CBR News that the artist behind Brian Michael Bendis' relaunch of the flagship series remains firmly in place. In addition to the verbal confirmation, Marvel also shared an early look at his pages from the story, focusing on Magik's return to the Jean Grey School:

EXCLUSIVE: Chris Bachalo and Tim Townsend pages from "Uncanny X-Men" #4

Anka, incorrectly labeled as the interior artist by Diamond, will be drawing a variant cover for the issue.

"Uncanny X-Men" #4 ships to comic shops on April 10 from Marvel Comics.
