X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

In casting news for "X-Men: Days of Future Past," Daniel Cudmore will return as Colossus for the inbetweequel, along with Boo Boo Stewart and Fan Bingbing. Director Bryan Singer posted a picture on Twitter of his cast with a number of empty spaces yet to be filled.

Deadline reports that Bingbing is actually playing Blink in the upcoming film, who was first introduced during the "Phalanx Covenant" storyline, played a prominent role in "Age of Apocalypse" and went on to headline Marvel's "Exiles" ongoing series.

Singer also spoke with Bleeding Cool about the film, reiterating that he hopes for the film to "fix a few things."

"It won’t be its primary function but there will be some fixing," Singer told Bleeding Cool. "It’s a really cool story, and incidentally, it facilitates all of these characters. They weren’t just thrown in there. And they all play a fun role. I want there to be some humor and some fun. In 'Days of Future Past' there are some genuinely things in it. THE WALKING DEAD

As usual, there are a number of new videos around following last night's episode "The Walking Dead." AMC has released a sneak peek of next week's episode, "The Sorrowful Life" as well as two behind-the-scenes videos of last night's "Prey."

Airs Sundays on AMC

THE WOLVERINE

In the most recent issue of "Total Film Magazine," "The Wolverine" star Hugh Jackman spoke about the difference between the upcoming film and "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."

I'm thrilled the studio called it 'The Wolverine' instead of 'Wolverine 2,' because we're trying to set it up as a standalone picture," Jackman told Total Film. "Tonally, it's different from the other X-Men movies. It's got massive action sequences, as people would expect, and it'll be great fun. But it is a character-driven movie. It's about a guy completely out of his element, in this world that's foreign to him, and how he copes with that. I feel like we have the opportunity to deliver that badass, kick-ass Wolverine I know everybody wants to see."

Thanks to Comic Book Movie for the heads up.

Meanwhile, James Mangold continues his Twitter escapades with two new pictures teasing the film: a shot of the Yashida compound and a black-and-white portrait of Svetlana Khodchenkova, who plays Viper.
