Meet the new Leonardo, Michelangelo and Donatello.

It appears Paramounts "Ninja Turtles" – in whatever form they take – are gearing up for the silver screen for real.

After the initial plans for a Michael Bay-directed reboot of Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird's indie comics icons "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" was shut down last summer, the film has kicked into high gear over recent weeks. Today, Deadline has the news that all four Turtles have been cast as Pete Ploszek's Leonardo, Noel Fisher's Michelangelo and Jeremy Howard's Donatello are set to join Alan Ritchson's Raphael and Megan Fox's April O'Neil.

None of the new Turtle actors – who will become the ninja foursome via motion capture CGI techniques – have the celebrity power/history with the director Fox has nor the teen touchstone resumé of "Hunger Games" actor Ritchson. Ploszek and Howard are relative unknowns with small supporting roles on projects like "Parks & Recreation" and "Breaking Bad" to their respective credit. Meanwhile, Fisher has been seen by audiences in supporting parts in "Hatfields & McCoys" and the final "Twilight" film.

The road to "Ninja Turtles" has been a long one already with its starts and stops, fan outrage over rumored changes to the property's core and statements from both Eastman and Laird offering pro and con takes. The film is now expected to start production in April for a May 2014 release.
