A tiny space pod rocketing from a doomed, little-known world crash-lands in mysterious East Africa, interrupting a vicious mutiny off the jungle coast. Thus begins a fantastic retelling of two great heroic myths - Superman and Tarzan - which finds these great men drawn together in unexpected ways when their lives are crossed in a bizarre twist of fate.

Orphaned Kal-El, last survivor of the planet Krypton, is raised by apes to become the mighty Lord of the Jungle, while John Greystoke, heir to fortune and privilege, becomes an adventurous wastrel, draped in luxury, but not fulfillment. When fateful events draw the two together in the mythical city of Opar, each men will face the greatest danger they've ever known, and each man will discover his true, destined identity!

This miniseries features three thirty-two page comics, written by Chuck Dixon, with art by Carlos Meglia, colored by Dave Stewart. The first issue of Superman/Tarzan: Sons of the Jungle will be on sale starting October 17 for $2.99
