THE AVENGERS

More special features from the Marvel Phase One box set have surfaced online, including some deleted scenes and behind-the-scenes featurettes for "The Avengers." Thanks to Comic Book Movie for the heads up.

Now available on DVD/Blu-ray

MAN OF STEEL

The Toronto Sun spoke with Laurence Fishburne during the premiere for "The Colony," during which the actor revealed he hasn't yet signed on for a sequel to "Man of Steel" to reprise his role as Perry White.

"No, not yet, not yet, not yet," Fishburne said. "I mean, we have to see how the film's gonna do, right?"

Opens June 14

EVIL DEAD

Digital Spy has posted a new UK TV trailer for the "Evil Dead" reboot featuring Jane Levy.

Meanwhile, Levy and director Fede Alvarez spoke with Collider about the film, including spilling details on the behind-the-scenes of creating the effects, recreating moments from the original "Evil Dead" and the possibility of a sequel.

Original "Evil Dead" star Bruce Campbell and Alvarez spoke with Spinoff Online about whether there will be an "Army of Darkness 2" or what an "Evil Dead" follow-up might entail.

“Right now I’m writing a sequel to ['Evil Dead'], and [Raimi's] going to make that one," Alvarez told Spinoff. "He wants to really continue the story of Army of Darkness with the character of Ash, and ideally in my mind as a fan what I want is we make the sequel to this film and Sam makes that one and then we make a third film and we unite the whole universe,” Alvarez said. “I would love to see Ash and [Jane Levy's 'Evil Dead' character] Mia fighting demons together. That would be kickass. The kind of Bonnie and Clyde of the demon world."

Now playing in theaters

GODZILLA

David S. Goyer spoke with Collider about his work on the "Godzilla" reboot script for Legendary Pictures.

"I did jump at the chance [to do it] but one of the reasons why I only did three weeks was because I was very busy," Goyer told Collider. "The good news/bad news about where I’m at in my career now is I get offered a lot of cool things and I can’t always work on them because my dance card’s often full. I’ve definitely had to -- there’ve been some ones that have gotten away that I wish I could’ve worked on."

Opens May 16, 2014

SUPERMAN UNBOUND

CBR spoke with "Superman Unbound" cast and crew at WonderCon, including Andrea Romano, Matt Bohmer and Molly Quinn.

"It's a particular challenge when you're playing a role like this. It's been so iconic for me since I was four or five years-old," said Bomer, who voices Superman in the animated film. "Inevitably, you have in the back of your head all the different interpretations from the comics to the films to the cartoons and TV series." He chose to focus on the Superman he saw in the script itself. "In this particular version, he's a very mature Superman. As usual, he has a lot on his plate, but he has this very paternal instinct toward Supergirl. And he has a very protective instinct with Lois, because he fears their relationship could endanger her."

Releases May 7 on DVD/Blu-ray

JUSTICE LEAGUE: THE FLASHPOINT PARADOX

As it turns out, the "Flashpoint" animated feature film is actually happening. The full title is "Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox" and it stars Kevin Conroy as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Dana Delany as Lois Lane, Ron Perlman as Deathstroke and Vanessa Marshall as Wonder Woman with more casting to be announced. The official synopsis is below.

When time travel allows a past wrong to be righted for The Flash and his family, the ripples of the event prove disastrous as a fractured, alternate reality now exists where a Justice League never formed, and even Superman is nowhere to be found. Teaming with a grittier, more violent Dark Knight and Cyborg, Flash races to restore the continuity of his original timeline while this new world is ravaged by a fierce war between Wonder Woman's Amazons and Aquaman’s Atlanteans. With breath taking action and an all-star voice cast, it's a bold, emotional vision that will forever change the landscape of the DC Universe.

Releases July 30, 2014 on DVD/Blu-ray
