Marvel Comics has released the Art Adams variant cover for "Infinity" #1 written by Jonathan Hickman with interior art by Jim Cheung. The issue, which hits this summer, kicks off Marvel's latest publishing event that brings Thanos to the forefront of the Marvel U. Adams' variant comes hot on the heels of yesterday's "Infinity" #1 standard cover by Adam Kubert. While Kubert's cover featured Thanos, Adams' variant shows six of Hickman's current Avengers: Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow, Spider-Woman, Manifold and Shang Chi.

"It's a good thing that the Avengers have gotten bigger and brought in more members. We're fielding a team, now, around 18 people deep, giving three apiece to take on the lieutenants and three guys to fight with Thanos himself," Marvel Executive Editor Tom Brevoort told CBR during the introduction of Thanos' Black Order. "They will probably need it."
