DC Comics' Villains Month is right around the corner, and as the September celebration of all things evil creeps up, the publisher continues to release more information about the publishing initiative -- however, the single issues aren't the only way DC plans to give a nod to its villains. The publisher has provided CBR with an exclusive first look at Kevin Nowlan's cover for "Necessary Evil: The Villains of the DC Universe" trade paperback, which collects a number of older stories featuring the massive rogues gallery of the DCU. Nowlan's cover sees the Joker with playing cards representing Catwoman, Lex Luthor, Black Adam and Sinestro. The collection, which hits stores September 4, features backup stories from "Countdown" as well as individual issues of "Action Comics Annual," "Batman," "Wonder Woman," "Green Lantern Corps," "Black Adam" and more.
