GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY

The cast and crew of "Guardians of the Galaxy" ran a press conference at Comic-Con International in San Diego to discuss the anticipated upcoming film, including the actors' impressions of their characters.

"For Quill, without blowing too much of his origin, or anything like that, there's a petulance to him. He hasn't really been held accountable, as an adult," actor Chris Pratt told reporters. "He's been able to be free in space and do whatever he's wanted to do. That's really fun because it means that he's slept with all these super weird aliens. That's my favorite weird element of the character. It's just very wonderful. But, my favorite moment that I've had was when I first donned my full wardrobe in the costume department. I put it on and it was just like, 'Wow!' I wore it, and I thought that was pretty wonderful. All of a sudden, my walk changed a little bit, and I had a little extra bob in my head. That was pretty cool."

AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

A new poster featuring the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." cast hit online over the weekend. Check it out below.

IGN has posted a report from the TCA Press Tour panel for "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," which included both the cast and crew of the show, who were on hand to discuss everything from the new characters to Marvel and ABC's support of Joss Whedon's vision.

"ABC and Marvel have been very active making sure that the show is what they want for their company and their network and their audiences, but at the same time very supportive of the vision that we laid out for them," Whedon said. "We want to make the same show. We’re on the same page, which has occasionally not happened to me."

Speaking of ABC and Marvel, ABC Entertainment's president Paul Lee had a bit to say about the future of the network and Marvel Television's current partnership.

"We are loving this relationship [with Marvel]," Lee told reporters during the TCA Press Tour. "The relationship with Marvel and with other Disney [intellectual property] across the company is something we are ambitious to build. We have lots of little schemes in mind."

Premieres September 24 on ABC

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

James Marsden spoke with Vulture about a myriad of subjects, including confirmation that he won't reprise his role as Cyclops in "X-Men: Days of Future Past."

"No, no 'X-Men,' unfortunately. But who knows? If this next film really works, Bryan [Singer] has said he wants to fix a few things, so hopefully [Cyclops' death] is one of them," Marsden told Vulture. "It was great, to have a movie like that, the first two or three X-Men, and the studios in Hollywood work really hard to find a formula that's successful, and you want to keep that intact, so --"

Meanwhile, Halle Berry spoke with Total Film Magazine (via Comic Book Movie) about her return as Storm to the "X-Men" franchise, and how her role was reduced from its original conception due to her pregnancy.

"What I could do was getting more limited so the role that I play is so different from what it could have been, due to my surprise pregnancy," Berry told Total Film. "But there's something very revealing and shocking about Storm in this movie that I thought was needed. There are some things you find out about her that I think give you much more insight into who she is."

300: RISE OF AN EMPIRE

Total Film spoke with Lena Headey about her leading role in "300: Rise of an Empire" and the general feel of the film.

"It’s different in that Zack [Snyder] didn’t direct it, so it’s a very different feeling," Headey told Total Film. "But the film, visually, follows on very much from the original. It’s something that’s so beloved for its physicality and visceral content. I had fun; I got to hold a sword."
