Official Press Release

David Bogart, former Editor In Chief of Harris Comics, has joined the Marvel

family as Managing Editor. Starting Monday, October 15th, David will work

with Editor In Chief Joe Quesada and Director - Publishing Operations Bob

Greenberger on a variety of efforts, from maintaining Marvel's

always-expanding publishing schedule to developing new series and formats.

In addition, David will edit X-Men Unlimited, which will now be published

bi-monthly.

"What attracted me to Marvel? In one word: talent," Bogart stated. "Not

just the talent on the books, but behind-the-scenes as well. In just a

little over a year, Marvel's management and editorial staff have turned the

company around. I look forward to becoming a member of the team."

"David has a reputation for working well with talent and helping them meet

their deadlines, something always needed at The House," Greenberger said.

"He'll be a major asset as we continually focus on delivering our books on

time, as well as developing loads of behind-the-scenes projects that will

help keep the rest of us sane."

"During my freelance days I had the pleasure of working with Bogie!"

exclaimed Quesada. "He's a fine editor and I'm thrilled to have someone with

his talents and organizational skills making Marvel his home!"

Everyone at Marvel welcomes David to The House!
