Vertigo Releases First Look At "The Witching Hour"

In anticipation of its October 2 release, Vertigo Comics has released a first look at pages from "The Witching Hour" anthology, including "Birdie" written by Lauren Buekes with art by Gerhard Human; "This Witch's Work" written by Annie Mok with art by Emily Carroll; and "Dead Boy Detectives" written by Toby Litt with layouts by Mark Buckingham and finishes by Victor Santos.

"The Witching Hour" was revealed as one of six new titles for Vertigo's fall publishing slate. "Dead Boy Detectives," in particular, will launch as a new monthly series in November. "The Witching Hour" also includes work from Kelly Su DeConnick, Cliff Chiang, Matthew Sturges, Shawn McManus, Tula Lotay and more.
