AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.
Is Samuel L. Jackson scheduled to appear in tonight's episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.?" It's possible Nick Fury himself will cameo after the end credits of "0-8-4," tonight's episode of the ABC drama. Both Marvel and the cast of the upcoming show have teased that viewers should stick around for the post-credits scene of tonight's episode, with a special tease on the logo of a recent promo.
Meanwhile, Marvel Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada spoke with CBR about his role in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s" creative inception, how the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to evolve and more.
"It is like a living, breathing weekly document we're making with 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,' and we want to make sure that we're an additive to the Cinematic Universe tapestry and not a complication," Quesada told CBR. "What strikes me as interesting about the world of live action television is how much it reminds me of comics publishing. Comics are weekly grind. Every Wednesday, retailers have to have product to sell, so the books have to go out. The amount of creative work and the mental energy put towards that content on a daily basis is stunning and really daunting if we had the luxury to really sit and think about the Sisyphean task for a second. Weekly episodic television is very much like that. The big difference of course is that you do get some time off to recharge a bit."

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER
While doing press for her film "Don Jon," Scarlett Johansson spoke with Refinery29 about her role as the Black Widow in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier."
"This film is in real time. It's been two years since [the characters] appeared, and now both are agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fighting in the streets. We are not superheroes flying side by side," Johansson told Refinery29. "They help each other because we are fighting in a similar way. It’s a working relationship. … By a series of unfortunate encounters, they will be in a situation in which their friendship becomes more intimate. They share many similarities because they live on the defensive without relying on anyone. Also, the two have been working for the government throughout their professional careers. With their friendship they begin to question what they want and what is their true identity."

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON
James Spader spoke with Collider about landing the role of Ultron in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Although his comments are brief, he definitely seems enthusiastic about the role.
"Well, I had met with Kevin Feige a couple of years ago and just told him that I would love to come into that world, at some point, if the circumstances were right," Spader told Collider. "It was for a lot of reasons. There was a time in my life where I used to go over to my friend Will’s house when I was kid and I never had any comic books in my house, but he had trunk loads of them. I used to go over there and bury myself in his room with his comics and devour them. And then, I put that down in my life. I have three sons and a couple of them, along the way, have shown a real keen interest in that world. So, before it was too late, I wanted to try to see if I could be part of that.
"One of the great luxuries, as an actor, is that you’re able to participate in projects where the process of making the thing or the world you’re entering is so foreign to you, and that foreign world, in many cases, forces you to work in an entirely different way," the actor continued. "The challenge becomes so different, and I was intrigued by that. I’ve been doing this a long time, and it seemed like it would be great fun to do something that I have no frame of reference for. So, the right thing came along and Kevin Feige called me up and said, “I found the thing.” And Joss Whedon gave me a call and said he really wasn’t thinking about anybody else for it and he thought it would be great fun to do. So, here we go."

J.J. "LENS FLARE" ABRAMS
J.J. Abrams spoke with Crave Online about how much he's associated with lens flares, and actually noted he had to use ILM to get rid of some of them in "Star Trek Into Darkness."
"I know I get a lot of grief for that," says Abrams. "But I'll tell you, there are times when I'm working on a shot, I think, 'Oh this would be really cool… with a lens flare.' But I know it's too much, and I apologize. I'm so aware of it now. I was showing my wife an early cut of Star Trek Into Darkness and there was this one scene where she was literally like, 'I just can't see what's going on. I don't understand what that is.' I was like, 'Yeah, I went too nuts on this.' This is how stupid it was: I actually had to use ILM [Industrial Light & Magic] to remove lens flare in a couple of shots, which is, I know, moronic. But I think admitting you're an addict is the first step towards recovery."
