GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY

Although Marvel had no official announcements for its upcoming film slate at New York Comic Con this year (the publisher did show some exclusive footage during its Marvel Unlimited Plus members panel over the weekend), "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor Lee Pace spoke with Click Online about his character Ronan the Accuser and his experience bringing the character to life.

"He’s a fucking psycho!" Pace told Click Online. "He’s a real monster. I’ve had the best time playing this character. I'm glad it's all on film and I never thought I could be so nuts in it!"

The production wrapped shooting over the weekend, so it's likely some kind of official trailer will drop in the coming months.

THE WALKING DEAD

"The Walking Dead" debuted its fourth season last night (be sure to check out CBR staffer Josh Wigler's review of "The Walking Dead" season four premiere), but it also had a few announcements during its incredible NYCC panel -- including additions of two new cast members: Michael Cudlitz as Abraham and Josh McDermitt as Eugene.

Cudlitz followed-up the panel announcement via Twitter, with the first image of him as Eugene.

AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

Comic Book Movie has posted a gallery of stills from the upcoming fifth episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," "The Girl in the Flower Dress," including one of the first looks at Ruth Negga as Raina.

The show's executive producer Jeph Loeb screened this week's episode during New York Comic Con and took fan questions with cast members Iain De Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge. During the panel, Loeb announced that Titus Welliver would reprise his "Item 47" role as Agent Blake in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s" October 29 episode. Welliver's casting follows the news that ABC has picked up the series for a full season order.

THOR: THE DARK WORLD

Tom Hiddleston did the press rounds for "Thor: The Dark World" in China, and YouTube user fengliugang has posted a full clip. (via Comic Book Movie.) There's a bit of spoiler-related answers during the Q&A video, so approach with caution.

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

Ain't It Cool News has confirmed that "X-Men: Days of Future Past" was shot in 48fps (the same as Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" that came under a bit of critical fire) and will be released in the same high frame rate. Singer previously revealed that he shot Quicksilver's scenes at 3600fps, and it'll be interesting to see how that particular technique gels with the 48fps release.

BATMAN BEYOND

World's Finest has posted a report that Bruce Timm and Darwyn Cooke will reunite on a "Batman Beyond" animated short for DC Nation, set to debut in 2014 to time with the 75th anniversary of Batman. Cooke will lead both design and storyboarding -- it's a nice nod considering he animated the main titles for the original show.

STAR WARS

The official "Star Wars" YouTube channel has released the original theatrical trailer for "A New Hope" from 1976.

HIDDLESTON AS WILSON AS LOKI

Tom Hiddleston did an impersonation of Owen Wilson playing Loki, and it was decently spot-on. Whether or not the impersonation was accurate, it's certainly funny to watch.
