THOR: THE DARK WORLD

"Thor: The Dark World" star Chris Hemsworth spoke with Screenrant about his role and where he thinks the franchise will go for the third film.

“I think what’s good about this is that each time, with the Avengers, we sort of made it difficult to separate them each time there’s some sort of conflict it’s like, 'Where’s the rest of the team?' And I liked that Thor has another universe or the universe to sort of take care of and keep him occupied," Hemsworth said. "I think that in the comic book the sort of end of days, Armageddon aspect is probably the direction in which it will all head in. Where it’s sort of the end of all things and there’s obviously no script or anything when I read the comic books I thought it was an interesting way to go.”

Moviefone has posted a new clip from "Thor: The Dark World" as Loki and Thor fly a ship through one of the realms.

Christopher Eccleston and Alan Taylor spoke with Digital Spy about Malekith the Accursed and adding him to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

ARROW

Here's a promo for next week's episode of "Arrow," "Crucible," featuring Cle Bennett as The Mayor, Caity Lotz as The Canary and more.

Meanwhile, another "Firefly" alum will join the cast of the CW drama -- Sean Maher will debut later this season as the supervillain Shrapnel. Maher makes his first appearance in the 10th episode of this season as "a serial bomber who places Starling City in a grip of terror and threatens the life of Sebastian Blood."

Andrew Kreisberg spoke with The Huffington Post about the current developments of the second season, including bringing on Caity Lotz as Black Canary, who will be "a main focal point" for Roy Harper and Laurel Lance.

"[Roy] knows that there's other [vigilantes] and he has a great scene in Episode 2 with Laurel, saying, 'you guys think you know everything, but I'm actually in the thick of it and I know what the deal is,'" Kreisberg told the Huffington Post. "He says 'I've seen her,' and once we find out who the Black Canary is, it's going to really pique [Laurel's] interest."

Airs Wednesays on the CW

BEWARE THE BATMAN

It looks like "Beware the Batman" is no longer on Cartoon Network. "Currently, 'Beware the Batman' is no longer on our air," a network representative told CBR. "DC Nation will continue on Saturday mornings at 10/9c with new exclusive shorts and a full hour of encore episodes of 'Teen Titans Go!'"

It seems the show has been pulled until further notice, but reasons were not given by the network.

DEADPOOL

Yahoo! Movies UK spoke with Ryan Reynolds during the "Turbo" press junket, and the actor gave a brief update on the status of the in-development "Deadpool" movie.

“[In] its current iteration the movie’s actually very small,” Reynolds told Yahoo! Movies UK. “There’s minimal impact to the studio, which is the way we’re kind of presenting it to them. We’re saying ‘Look, the budget is minimal. Therefore, can we do this the way it should be done?’ Which unfortunately needs a Rated R [age certificate] or it needs those elements.”

PEANUTS

The "Peanuts" animated movie has found a new producer: "Bridesmaids" and "The Heat" director Paul Feig.

"Growing up, 'Peanuts' was my Star Wars," Feig is quoted by Deadline. "Charles Schulz's characters influenced everything in my career, especially 'Freaks And Geeks.' I'm thrilled I finally get to be pals with Charlie Brown and Snoopy."
