DOCTOR WHO

The BBC has posted a short "Doctor Who" minisode featuring the return of Paul McGann as the Eighth Doctor and the short introduction of John Hurt as "The War Doctor," who (continuity-wise) would have showed up before Christopher Eccleston's Ninth Doctor during the relaunch.

Special airs November 23 on BBC

ARROW

Summer Glau spoke with CBR about her role as Isabel Rochev during this season of "Arrow" and what she sees her character's place as amidst the cast.

"[Oliver's] had so many women in his life and a lot of different relationship challenges, I think he needs a woman who's different," Glau told CBR. "She's pushing him to put more energy into the business. She's forcing him to show up and make more decisions as the head of the company. I have really enjoyed that part of it in my work and my acting -- being able to hold my own against him and force him to stand up to her. The sparring and the power struggle is great."

Comic Book Movie has posted footage from next week's episode featuring the return of Seth Gabel as The Count.

Flash TV News has posted the official synopsis for the December 4 episode of the series, which introduces Grant Gustin as Barry Allen.

BARRY ALLEN COMES TO STARLING CITY — A seemingly impossible robbery at Queen Consolidated’s Applied Sciences Division brings Central City police scientist Barry Allen (guest star Grant Gustin) to town. Citing a similar case back home, Barry offers to help Oliver (Stephen Amell) and team with the investigation. Oliver senses there is more to Barry than meets the eye, but he’s distracted by the similarities between this current case and something that happened on the island. Meanwhile, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) takes a liking to Barry, which doesn’t go unnoticed by Oliver. Sin (guest star Bex Taylor-Klaus) asks Roy (Colton Haynes) for help when a friend of hers goes missing. Roy is surprised when Thea (Willa Holland) not only encourages him to help, but joins the search. Unfortunately, Sin’s friend is connected to Brother Blood (guest star Kevin Alejandro), and their search ultimately gets one of them seriously injured. Michael Schultz directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kresiberg and teleplay by Andrew Kreisberg & Geoff Johns (#208).

Airs Wednesdays on the CW

JURASSIC WORLD

"Guardians of the Galaxy" star Chris Pratt may be headed to "Jurassic World." According to The Hollywood Reporter, the "Parks and Recreation" actor is currently in talks to star opposite Bryce Dallas Howard as a "rugged ex-military man" in a part originally intended for Josh Brolin.

THR admits that while there is an offer on the table for Pratt, it's still early days and the negotiations could go either way. "Jurassic World" is directed by Colin Trevorrow, who also helmed "Safety Not Guaranteed" (which, incidentally, starred Pratt's "Parks and Recreation" co-star Aubrey Plaza).

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 5
