It's finally official: Marvel has confirmed Paul Rudd will play Ant-Man in the upcoming film. Rumors had been circulating for a long time about Rudd's involvement, and earlier this week, unconfirmed reports stated that the actor was in talks/had been cast in Edgar Wright's film.
Now everyone can return to speculation and rumors about the "Ant-Man" female lead, last rumored to be "Parks and Recreation's" Rashida Jones.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY
Michael Rooker spoke with At Tha Movies about his makeup prep for Yondu in "Guardians of the Galaxy," which took six hours to apply.
"In the end, at the end, we did a huge photo session and I saw the end result in some of the lighting we we’re using and I was just blown away," Rooker told At Tha Movies. "I saw the photograph and it was really… I mean I had seen it in the mirror with really bad lights and I’ve seen myself on a video you know, little feedbacks and replays, but on the set. Now I finally see myself a photo of myself with a real camera, a real lens and real lighting and brother… It… was… beautiful. The first time I saw what real people are going to see and it was stunning, stunning, it just… I can’t describe it… it just looked like real skin. It was so believable, it’s amazing, it amazed me and it totally blew me away, stunning, beautiful and I couldn’t believe it. It made me think that I was working with real artists."

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2
Moviefone spoke with "Amazing Spider-Man 2" actor Chris Cooper about his introduction as Norman Osborn in the upcoming sequel, and while he was slightly cagey, he did admit that the film is more an introduction to Norman than anything else.
"When you see 'Spider-Man 2,' you'll realize this is the introduction to Norman Osborn, and apparently it's going to lead to other things down the road. But an actor has to do these big tent pole productions something like once every five years. It just keeps the name alive, as some of these smaller films that may not make it around the world tend not to do. … All I can is this is a very strange introduction for Norman Osborn. I just can't reveal why it's that way, but this is not the beginning of Norman. It is the introduction, but it's not the beginning, and I think that's as far as I can go."
Meanwhile, the "Amazing Spider-Man 2" Social Toaster has posted a new image of Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn suitable for wallpapering various devices.

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST
James McAvoy and Patrick Stewart had a scene together in "X-Men: Days of Future Past" -- oddly, it was Stewart's last scene of shooting and McAvoy's first.
“There was a certain happy charm about it, in that, when we shot that scene, it was James’ first day of work and it was my last day,” Stewart told The Wall Street Journal. “So I was saying goodbye to X-Men and he was saying hello. James has seen everything I have done, I’ve seen everything he has done. He is illustrating a time in Charles Xavier’s life which was very different from the time that I’ve been inhabiting in the previous three movies, and we just let that play out. I think we’ve both been looking forward to doing that scene immensely.”
TV Line has posted a brief tease from "Arrow" executive producer Andrew Kreisberg about the upcoming back half of the second season.
“Episode 14 is probably the most 'Brothers & Sisters' episode we’ve done,” Kreisberg told TV Line. “Everyone in the Lance family has big secrets and it’s all going to get blown wide open, but in a good way.”
