Oni Press is readying the return of Greg Rucka and Matthew Southworth's "Stumptown," this time as an ongoing series. The publisher's Tumblr announced Wednesday that it'll debut this year, and-- that's pretty much it.

A representative for the company said more information may be coming at Emerald City Comicon, which takes place March 28 to 30. Given the dates of that show and usual solicitation cycles, that would appear to suggest that the new series wouldn't start any earlier than July.

"Stumptown" -- set, as the title implies, in comic book hotbed Portland, Oregon -- is a crime series starring Dex Parios, a detective and gambling addict. The series debuted with a four-issue miniseries in 2009; a five-issue volume followed in 2012.
