AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

ABC president Paul Lee spoke briefly about "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." during the TCA press tour, specifically addressing the drop in ratings since the show's record-breaking pilot episode.

“It was obviously disappointing that we started with a very high number and it came down,” Lee told reporters. “It took a little bit of time to find our sea legs, but now the show is really doing well. Creatively, we are loving what we’re seeing for the back nine. We’re doing a lot of work, and I’m really enjoying doing this with Marvel. We can announce that Lady Sif is coming in, in Episode 15. We’re shooting it now, and that’s going to be absolutely integral to that hour of television. And then, there’s going to be this really cool arc to the end of the season. You’re going to find out who the Clairvoyant is, and it’s going to be very, very cool.”

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2

Ever since Shailene Woodley's scenes as Mary Jane Watson got cut from "Amazing Spider-Man 2," there's been speculation that the role might get recast. Lending merit to the speculation is Woodley herself, who said she might be too busy to be a part of the franchise while speaking with MTV at Sundance.

“I don’t know anything, but seeing as how they picked up the next two Divergent films, I don’t know how I would keep my sanity with two big action films in one year,” Woodley told MTV. “But anything can happen."

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY

Comicbook.com has partially transcribed an interview with Michael Rooker conducted by the Unrendered podcast about his role as Yondu in "Guardians of the Galaxy" and what audiences can expect from the film.

“As you can see from some of the photos out there, I’m not in a loincloth. I don’t have a major, major fin thing that goes down my back. We haven’t visually gone with the way that Yondu was in the comics," Rooker told Unrendered. “[Audiences can expect] Lovely, beautiful colors. What do you expect? It is a superhero movie. And I hope that you see it, and you’re going to be going ‘I’m going to see this again.’ That’s what I hope.”

HULK

Mark Ruffalo is still holding out for a solo "Hulk" film, but hopes that it might be able to carry more of a message than a typical summer blockbuster.

“As artists we have an ability to reach a lot of people in a deep way, and we have a responsibility,” Ruffalo told Total Film. “What we have to do as storytellers is to take science and make it relatable. I think we have to tell the story of the positive and what we’re going to try to do. Give them alternatives but don’t make it a polemic. … I’m in 'The Avengers,' but if you took my screen time it would come to about 10 minutes, along with the 12 other people I’m sharing the screen with, so my input’s kind of limited on that. But if we get to a standalone Hulk movie, I’ll have a much better chance to do that. I’m just learning now how to find my voice and bring it into the studio world."

BATMAN/SUPERMAN

IGN spoke with Josh Holloway for his role in new series "Intelligence" and the actor briefly discussed the rumors of him playing Aquaman in the upcoming "Man of Steel" sequel.

"It hasn't been brought to my attention by my people," Holloway told IGN, "so maybe they're just floating it softly around, but that would be cool! Sure, I think I'm available at the moment as we just wrapped up. I'm an actor, I like different roles. Batman movies are awesome, Marvel movies are awesome. But we'll see, I'm on a series right now. I think they usually want to sign you up for several movies and I don't know if you can do that when you're committed to a series..."
