Fox's "Gotham" has found its Detective Harvey Bullock. Donal Logue will play Jim Gordon's rough-around-the-edges partner first introduced in 1974's "Detective Comics" #441 -- though many fans may be more familiar with the role he played as part of Gotham PD in "Batman: The Animated Series."
Logue is the latest addition to the pilot, which also includes Ben McKenzie as series lead Detective James Gordon, Zabryna Guevara as Captain Essen, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth and Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin.
The CW has released the first episode synopsis of the March 5 episode of "Arrow," entitled "The Promise." Looks like it's going to be a more island-focused episode -- though Oliver may finally learn that Slade is in Starling.
THE TURNING POINT — Oliver (Stephen Amell) is shocked when he learns that Slade (Manu Bennett) has come to Starling City. Back on the island, as Oliver, Slade and Sara (Caity Lotz) prepare to take over the freighter from Ivo (guest star Dylan Neal), Sara pulls Oliver aside and tells him he needs to kill Ivo to prevent him from telling Slade what happened with Shado. Oliver feels immense guilt over the situation but realizes Slade’s growing rage from the Mirakuru makes him unpredictable and he could turn on his friends if he thinks Oliver is to blame. Oliver agrees to kill Ivo and the battle begins. Glen Winter directed the episode written by Jake Coburn & Ben Sokolowski.
Marc Guggenheim has a tease of his own for "Arrow" fans -- the title page of the eighteenth episode of the CW drama, entitled "Deathstroke."

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON
Superhero Movie News has posted quotes from the latest issue of Total Film Magazine, which contains an interview with "Avengers: Age of Ultron" cast member Elizabeth Olsen -- and the actress discussed the current look of the Scarlet Witch in the anticipated sequel.
"We’ve done some costume
stuff, yeah!" Olsen told Total Film. "My favorite piece is my secrecy cloak that prevents anyone from seeing what I’m wearing. There’s a hood, and a robe -- it protects the image! I don’t think Joss ever would have hired me, honestly, if he wanted me to wear those outfits; I am not a professional athlete and nor am I a model. Wearing those costumes wouldn’t be fun for anyone who wasn’t those things. He already had a different idea. It respects and involves the comic-book character but it’s different, more rooted. It’s for someone today. … Well, if someone walked around wearing what she wore in the comics, people would stop and say, ‘What the hell… she thinks she’s a superhero!’"
Meanwhile, Comic Book Movie has posted quotes from the same Total Film issue, this time by Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige about Black Widow's expanded role in "Age of Ultron" and the landscape of the MCU.
"We start filming the next Avengers film at the end of March," Feige told Total Film. "[Black] Widow's part in that is very big. We learn more about her past and learn more about where she came from and how she became in that film. The notion of exploring that even further in her own film would be great, and we have some development work with that."
