DISNEY & NETFLIX

Disney CEO Bob Iger and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo are expected to announce that Marvel's upcoming Netflix television series will film in New York City.

The Wall Street Journal reports the incentives agreement is valued around $4 million, which was unconfirmed by Disney. The studio also considered alternative shooting locations, including Toronto, before landing in New York City -- an apt place to shoot considering the series' subjects -- Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist -- are all denizens of the Marvel Universe's version of Hell's Kitchen.

Filming is expected to begin this summer.

AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

Looking forward to Jaimie Alexander's upcoming appearance in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.?" SHIELDsite.net has posted a selection of photos from the episode "Yes Men" in which Alexander reprises her "Thor: The Dark World" role as Sif.

Man, she's really angry at that vehicle.

ARROW

TV Guide has posted a new clip from this week's episode of "Arrow" featuring Felicity dealing with the fallout of the Clock King infiltrating her computer systems.

The CW has also released a number of new promotional photos for "The Promise," the March 5 episode of the series along with an official synopsis:

THE TURNING POINT — Oliver (Stephen Amell) is shocked when he learns that Slade (Manu Bennett) has come to Starling City. Back on the island, as Oliver, Slade and Sara (Caity Lotz) prepare to take over the freighter from Ivo (guest star Dylan Neal), Sara pulls Oliver aside and tells him he needs to kill Ivo to prevent him from telling Slade what happened with Shado. Oliver feels immense guilt over the situation but realizes Slade’s growing rage from the Mirakuru makes him unpredictable and he could turn on his friends if he thinks Oliver is to blame. Oliver agrees to kill Ivo and the battle begins. Glen Winter directed the episode written by Jake Coburn & Ben Sokolowski (#215).

GHOSTBUSTERS III

Despite the untimely and tragic passing of Harold Ramis, The Hollywood Reporter states that "Ghostbuster III" is still "on track" for production. Director Ivan Reitman is reportedly scheduled to meet with Sony to "assess how to move forward on the project." However, THR sources state that Ramis was only involved "minimally" in the project, and that no deals have been finalized. Work on the script by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupinsky has not progressed far enough for shooting to begin this year.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 3

Perhaps it's somewhat unsurprising, but Marc Webb will return to direct "Amazing Spider-Man 3." The surprise comes when considering the uncertainty that he'd be back for "Amazing Spider-Man 2," given his contractual obligation to Fox (following "(500) Days of Summer") that has -- at least to outside observers -- still not been fulfilled.

Webb's return was announced in a report by Variety, which quoted Sony Pictures Entertainment co-chair Amy Pascal as saying, "We are expanding the 'Spider-Man' universe into 'The Sinister Six' and 'Venom,' so that we have 'Spider-Man' movies every year."
