Patrick Wilson is reportedly in talks to join "Ant-Man" in an unspecified role.

The Wrap reports that Patrick Wilson is in negotiations to join Edgar Wright's highly anticipated "Ant-Man" in an undisclosed role. The negotiations were not confirmed by Marvel.

Though Wilson's most recent role was as Ed Warren in "The Conjuring" (a role he'll reprise for the sequel), comic book fans will no doubt know him better as Nite-Owl in Zack Snyder's adaptation of "Watchmen." His other notable credits include "Insidious: Chapter 2," a minor role in "Prometheus" and a one-episode appearance on HBO's "Girls."

While the only confirmed roles so far in "Ant-Man" are Paul Rudd as Scott Lang and Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, rumors have run wild about the film's supporting cast. Wilson's name joins a number of other rumored actors for the film, including Evangeline Lilly and Michael Pina.

Directed by Edgar Wright, "Ant-Man" opens July 17, 2015.
