Our own Seth Jones recently caught up with actor Samuel L. Jackson and had a quick chat about comics with the long time comics fan for a short period.

You're a big comic book fan?
Yeah.

What's your favorite book right now?
I've been reading "Wanted," keeping up with "Wanted."

That's you in the "Ultimates," right?

Yeah.

What do you think about that?
It's cool to be that character... I actually tend to change my face, and put scars on 'em and wear patches and stuff... it's a very cool looking character. If they ever make the movie, hopefully they'll give me the job.

Have they ever talked to you about that?
We kinda called them to see if they needed approval to do it. And they said, 'well, we kinda figured you wouldn't mind, being a fan.'

Have they ever approached you about writing your own comic?
I have talked to a couple people, yeah.

Are we ever going to see it?
It's still in the chatter stages. I'm still trying to figure out a character that's unique. I'm interested in being some kind of shape-changer, so hopefully we can make that work.
