BATMAN BEGINS

CBR's head honcho Jonah Weiland shlepped down to Hollywood's Kodak Theatre complex to grab some shots of a promotional event with the new Batmobile, and was kind enough to share:

The Batmobile outside the entrance to the World Famous Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood, CA. The rear of the Batmobile. Can you guess whose feet impressions can be found below? Well...
... it's Adam Sandler's. Not that that has anything to do with "Batman Begins," but ya know. A rare moment where onlookers weren't blocking a clean shot of the car at Grauman's.
Couple of crowd shots of the Batmobile in front of Grauman's.
Another angle of the Batmobile with Hollywood Blvd. in the background. A couple of serious Batman fans show up to share the love.
The line for the midnight showing started early. This shot was taken around 8:00 PM. No, I don't know why that guy is wearing an Obi-Wan Kenobi outfit. Maybe he's still confused which theater in Hollywood is playing Star Wars? It's at the 'dome, dude! And you think the costumed freaks at Comic-Con International are nuts? They got nothing on the Hollywood freaks. Nuthin'!

CBR also has a second review of the film and a poll where you can chime in with your thoughts.

More? Well, if you insist. Comics Continuum has a feature about the Batsuit itself, which is backed up by similar subject material being covered at Sci Fi Wire. The Continuum also got inside the head of Dr. Jonathan Crane with a feature on actor Cillian Murphy.

Finally, Kryptonsite has a simply fascinating in-depth look at the failed "Young Bruce Wayne" series that was ultimately killed by the movie division at Warner Brothers, including a pilot script.

BATTLE ANGEL ALITA

Yahoo! News has a feature on director James Cameron, who may be shying away from his verbal commitment to start filming the manga adaptation. "The 50-year-old writer-director plans is simultaneously developing something called 'Project 880,' which he will shoot before 'Battle Angel.'"

MIRRORMASK

Yahoo! Movies has a new trailer for the Neil Gaiman adaptation.

X-MEN 3

Superhero Hype has the snikt-a-riffic new teaser poster for the Brett Ratner-helmed mutant sequel.

WONDER WOMAN

Actress Morena Baccarin is still beating the media bushes, trying to keep her name in contention to play Themyscria's Finest (as we first reported from Wizard World Long Beach on March 21st). She talked to IESB, who said, "Morena keeps on being a fan favorite and says that she would love to have a chance to audition for the part. She also admits to having talked to Joss regarding the role but also states that she has never been offered the role."

FANTASTIC FOUR

There's a fifth TV spot available at The Movie Box, possibly the one we reported would be shown on the season finale of "The Shield."

"OH, YOU WOULDN'T BE INTERESTED IN THAT ..."
