V FOR VENDETTA

The official website has been updated with the new poster and the tagline, "People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people."

X-MEN 3

There's an unconfirmed rumor on a site called Deadpool's Blog that said, "Maggie Grace ('Lost') is out as Kitty Pryde. The production team has just issued a casting notice for the role." They also implied that the production is referring to Joss Whedon's "Astonishing X-Men" series as reference material.

Meanwhile, Superhero Hype puts two and two together from a report in Variety, revealing that a new development deal for screenwriter Zak Penn could mean another spin-off outside of "Wolverine" and "Magneto."

SMALLVILLE

Devoted to Smallville has even more spoilers about the season premiere, "Arrival."

DVD ROUNDUP

ICv2 reports that the complete 13-episode "Jim Lee's WildC.A.T.S: Covert Action Team" animated series will hit shelves on July 19th, with a 25-minute interview with Jim Lee, a series of stills, profiles and more.

Toon Zone reports that July 19th will also feature the debut of Keanu Reeves' "Constantine" on DVD, with an alternate ending, additional scenes, commentary and other extras.

Finally, Video Business reports that the August 16th release of "Sin City" on DVD will feature four variant covers, each one spotlighting one of the film's storylines. "We knew that different fans had different story lines and different characters that really stood out as their favorite," said Buena Vista VP brand marketing Lori MacPherson. "So we thought that this would be a fun way to give everybody the package that they would want."
