The next in celebrated illustrator Alex Ross's series of 75th anniversary Marvel variant covers hits in June with "The Savage Hulk" #1, and CBR has the exclusive first look at the image, capturing the character's origin and early years.

Following the similarly structured "Savage Wolverine," "Savage Hulk" is an anthology series featuring rotating creative teams telling stories separate of current storylines. The book starts with an arc written and illustrated by Alan Davis, followed by an installment from Jim Starlin. "Savage Hulk" #1 is scheduled for release on June 25.
